Dynamics of emigration from the Jewish Diaspora to Israel is the complex phenomenon, including the combination of numerous “pool” and, especially, “push” factors. The waves of Aliyah from the (F)SU of the resent decades is not an exclusion, although so called “Putin’s Aliya” of the second half of the 2020s, similar to previous ones, had their own unique dimensions. The current, let us call it “Corona Aliya” which is under way now  is likely to have much in common with those, who came from the USSR and post-Soviet states in the 1990s, rather than with Putins’ Aliya wave.
